Our firm dates back to the late nineteenth century when Raymond Trotter established a Solicitors Practice in Epping. Thomas Chapman joined in the 1920s, and Herbert Whisker in the 1940s. Trotter Chapman & Whisker practised under that name for the next five decades. By the 1990s the firm was known as Whiskers and in May 2008 the partnership of Whiskers Solicitors was incorporated under the style Whiskers LLP.

Pretlove’s is a family-run removals and storage company established in 1904. We have offices in Epping and Saffron Walden in Essex, Haverhill in Suffolk, and in Cambridge.
The removals firm has been in the Pretlove family for four generations. All removals staff are full-time - we do not use part-time, contract or casual staff for the moves. LN Glazing is a family run business with traditional values based in Loughton. We specialise in traditional single glazed windows repairs, double glazed repairs and new installations. All of our Glaziers have at least 15 years’ experience in the glazing industry, we all started out as apprentices and have learned the trade from the very basics to the specialist systems that we use today. We were first established in 1987 by Terry Ball and joined by Matthew Ball in 1995.

Having trained with Ernst & Young London and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2010 Joshua Finn joined a small practice giving him the opportunity to work with start-ups and owner managed businesses, which is where his passion lies.

The work we undertake varies in value from a few thousand pounds to multi-million pound projects. We pride ourselves on being able to adjust to all our customers’ needs.
The service we provide covers all trades within the building industry including joinery, brickwork, plastering, groundwork’s, plumbing, electrical and finishes such as flooring and decorating. In the majority of cases we directly employ the trades that are required. We however recognise the need to use specialist contractors for certain elements of the work and have built up a portfolio of highly qualified traders over the years. As our business is situated in London and the Midlands, we pride ourselves on using local tradesman and contractors from the areas. We will cover other geographical areas if necessary.
